The Process
Research and Writing
Topics usually start with a question or a spark of curiosity. Being able to tell a compelling story means being able to understand the topic at hand and present it with a personal touch.
Storyboarding
This part of the process sometimes gets overlooked, but it is so important. Laying out a basic structure before production can really help speed things up. Draw it out! On a paper or at least in your head.
Production
This is where the crux of what people will see and hear is created. Often times the most fun part of the process. Can be a hasstle when your gear acts out on you. Camera footage, narration, in-OS recordings.
Editing
The final part of every video project, and the most time consuming one. This is where you finally get to tell the story that you previously sketched out. Story flow, pacing, mood, effects and and personality.
